Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Manager with expertise in Dish installations and repairs within the satellite entertainment vertical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the activities of technicians in a specific office, ensures adequate staffing levels, training, and maximization of asset utilization, in order to achieve company goals. Monitors and leads technicians to company goals an On Site sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire a team of field service technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to enhance the technical skills of the team.
  2. Operational Management:
    • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of field technicians to ensure timely response to service requests and efficient job completion.
    • Monitor and manage service levels, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards.
  3. Technical Expertise:
    • Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Dish installations and repairs within the telecommunications industry.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to guide the team in maintaining a high level of technical proficiency.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their expectations and ensure service delivery aligns with their requirements.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of service at the highest standards.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

 Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Manager in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on Dish installations and repairs. Experience with other satellite providers a bonus!
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Dish systems and related equipment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex technical issues.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality service delivery.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Certification in Dish installations and repairs is highly desirable.
